ANTISEPTIC

The antiseptic oil will prevent or combat bacterial infection locally. Simultaneously, it will promote healing and reduce bruising. However, do not apply the oil on an open wound or sore. The injured area should have a scab or be a “dry” injury—no bleeding or weeping wound. Clean open wounds with disinfectant made with 25 ml water and 5 drops tea tree oil (pre-diluted in 2.5 ml alcohol). With major wounds, seek professional advice immediately.

Suggested essential oils: Benzoin, lemon, niaouli, tea tree.
