Asthma
ASTHMA
Any kind of allergen can precipitate an asthma attack. Asthma causes breathlessness, tightness in the chest, wheezing (resulting from the narrowing of the airways combined with muscle spasm), and mucosal swelling. Breathing out is more difficult than breathing in, and this produces the wheezing sound and breathlessness. Although asthma attacks are triggered by allergens such as food, dust mites, animal hair, or feathers, there are a number of other factors which can bring on an attack: stress, anxiety, chest infections, change in temperature, chemicals, etc. Asthma may be relieved through correct nutrition.
