Bruises
BRUISES
Bruising results when blood is released into the surrounding tissue caused by an impact. If no specific disorder can be found, the tendency to bruise easily may indicate vitamin K deficiency. Vitamin K is necessary for the formation of blood clotting protein which prevents hemorrhage. There are other possibilities for this condition, such as kidney disorders. If there is any cause for concern professional medical attention should be sought.
To combat vitamin K deficiency, eat live yogurt daily, as the microorganisms manufacture vitamin K. Green vegetables, pineapple, and pineapple juice have enzymes which encourage dispersal of the blood congested at the injured area. Vitamin C, bioflavonoids, and ice packs are valuable in the treatment of bruising caused through injury.
Suggested essential oils: Black pepper, camphor, cinnamon (bark or leaf), clove, geranium.
