Product Abstract: The cajuput tree has a whitish bark and has been used for many years for its therapeutic and medicinal qualities. The name is derived from Malay for the name of the tree, Kaya-Puti, meaning “white tree.” There are more than a dozen varieties of Melaleuca from which various essential oils are distilled. One example is tea tree. Cautions: Dilute before use; for external use only. May cause skin irritation in some individuals; a skin test is recommended prior to use. Contact with eyes should be avoided.
